Thrift the Runway! Valentine's Day Outfit Inspiration featuring MaxMara

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

I wanted to do something to help out my last minute sis out there that has no idea what she is going to wear today and may need a bit of inspiration! I’ve put together some of my favorite looks (mostly pieces, not complete looks) from a few designers that I thing would be BOMB inspiration for my thrift queens out there! In case you are absolutely in love with these pieces, I will link them, as well.

If you have been keeping up with my YouTube, I’ve been doing a lot of thrifting this year and one thing that people always tell me is that they never find anything good or have no idea how to put looks together when they are thrifting. My best advice for beginners is to have a list of pieces that you would like to find and/or some inspiration pictures to help you visualize the complete look! I’ve got a couple of things I’ll list and link below! I hope this helps!

This coat from Max Mara’s Resort 2020 collection is a VIBE! If you are wanting to keep with a monochromatic look for Valentine’s Day, try looking for a good red wool coat! This pairs well with other items and will definitely serve as a statement pie…

Another look from Max Mara’s Resort 2020 Collection - I look the gold specs in this teddy coat! I also look the idea of doing a neutral tone for Valentine’s Day instead of the traditional reds, pinks and black. A good camel coat will have tremendous longetivity in your wardrobe, get multiple uses, and warm up any outfit. I love the monochromatic look here - as well. For Valentine’s Day, I would pair this coat with a neutral or camel colored pencil skirt and a cream pussybow blouse. YES! What do you think?
