Oh, hey! I’m Marie. I was born on a military base in Petersburg, VA and raised in the country. I’m the youngest daughter of three girls! I’m a wife, a mom of two (Cameron[15] & Tai[6]), marketing fanatic, brand strategist, avid traveler and all around lover of style. I have three degrees: My bachelors in Marketing, a Masters of Science in Human Service Counseling with a Concentration in Executive Leadership and my MBA in Human Resources. However, I’ve learned some of my biggest lessons from YouTube University where I’ve mastered styling myself, my hair, my house and my family. Big facts. I’m addicted to learning and refuse to fail. I fell in love with history in Mrs. McArthur’s 11th grade AP European History Class. Not only did I find the history of the world fascinating, I also fell in love with the fashions, honey! As I settle into adulthood, I’m finding myself obsessed with classic hues and silhouettes featured in all the vintage movies. I’ve always admired ‘Claire Huxtable’ and Diahann Carroll when it comes to style and how I want my children to remember me. Oh yea, my mom was a hottie back in her day, too. I love raiding my mom and aunt’s closet for vintage cardigans, blazers with shoulder pads, high waisted skirts and pants, and timeless coats.

Aside from my family, history lessons and The Cosbys, my style is largely influenced by my love for minimalist lines and neutral tones. Earth tones and neutrals with classic accessories are always my default. I started this blog in 2019 while managing a multi-million dollar investment in real estate in North Carolina. I look forward to sharing helpful tips on #mommying, being a girl boss, interior design, fashion, travel and even some beauty tips! My goal is to be able to run the blog full-time and travel around the world, absorbing style trends as I go.
